Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV01)
This innovative one and a half day ground school course is designed for students who lack formal training in basic aviation theory related to the operation of Ummanned Arial Vehicle Systems. The course offers aviation subject theory important to Transport Canada on SFOC submissions including:
•Air law and regulations
•Weather and basic UAS 101
Students also receive instruction for an Industry Canada Restricted Radio Operators License (Air). Upon the successful completion of the radio exam, students will then receive a radio license which allows them to operate and monitor aviation frequencies.
Note: This course has received subsidy from the Peace Region Unmanned Vehicle Systems Partnership.
