Grande Prairie Housing & Residence
GPRC Grande Prairie residence is home to 503 students who choose the carefree lifestyle of being on campus. We offer accommodations for both single students and students with families.
The Residences are located just to the east of the main campus near Bear Creek and offer fully-furnished apartments: eighty-nine 4-person units, two wheelchair accessible units and nine family housing units.
Each unit contains a full-size oven/stove and refrigerator. Multi-person units have a separate freezer. Furnishings include dining table/chairs, couches, love seats and end tables. Bedrooms are outfitted with extra-long (80") twin beds, dressers, closets and study desks or stations. Bathrooms are shared on each floor. Mail and laundry are located at the Housing Office.
Our residences border along the Muskoseepi Park trail system, where users can walk or bike from one side of the city to the other, without leaving the trails! We also are situated next to the Bear Creek reservoir which provides opportunities for nature lovers to go for a paddle along its banks or take the camera out for some great shots.
Applications to live in Residence can be filled out online, or printed and submitted by email. Application forms are available above, can be obtained from your local Peace Region high school, or will be mailed upon request by contacting the Residence Office.
