The information detailed here applies to parking at the Grande Prairie Campus.
Hours of Operation
Parking permits are required in assigned parking lots between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, September 1 through April 30. Residence Lots G, J and L require permits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, September 1st to April 30th.
All lots and pay and display areas, except residence are free on weekends and after 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. weekdays.
Pay and Display Dispensers
Pay and display dispensers are located at the Lots C, L Wing entrance and the Theatre Island for visitor and student use; 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, September 1 through April 30. Rates are posted. Receipts are valid for any of the above lots with the exception of the College & Community Health Centre (CCHC).
College & Community Health Centre (CCHC)
Pay and display parking in this lot is effective between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, September 1 through April 30.Only receipts purchased from the CCHC dispenser are valid in the CCHC lot.
Parent Parking (ELCC)
ELCC (Early Learning and Childcare Program Main Office) located in H206 distributes the parent parking permits for those registered in Children's Centre and Spring Nursery Programs. ELCC loading zone parent parking is located in 8 stalls along the fence line of the Children's Playground in Lot F, or if occupied, anywhere in Lot F for a maximum of 20 minutes.
Parking Permits Sales
Parking permits are available for purchase starting July 15th online only. The permit gives the holder access to any one stall within reserved lots indicated on the permit.
Parking permits for the 2015-2016 academic year will be made available to students for pickup in front of Facilities - Maintenance and Operations, G102 starting Wednesday, August 26th through to September 4th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.
Following a completed purchase, print your confirmation and pick up your permit at Facilities - Maintenance and Operations, G102. Permits will be held until mid-September. Photo identification is required for pickup. Purchases made through the academic year may be picked up at Facilities - Maintenance and Operations, G102 two business days after the date of purchase.
Note: Full year and semester passes are available. A valid credit card along with the vehicle year/make/model and license plate number are required to complete the purchase.
In-person parking permit sales are not available.
Disabled Parking Permits
GPRC will designate the appropriate number of stalls to meet the needs of persons with disabilities. To purchase a permit, please see Facilities - Maintenance and Operations, G102 with proof of provincial disability registration.

All parking permit prices quoted include GST.
Overflow parking is permitted in this lot for any valid pass or permit.
Trades and Technology Parking
Students in trades programming can purchase their parking permits at the Trades and Technology reception on the first day of class.

Lots G, J, L
Available to residence students only, online sales begin August 13th. Permits can be picked up from the Residence Office (Res-E) 780-539-2802.
Building Blocks Daycare
Permits are only available to staff of the daycare and parents of children in the daycare. Permits can be purchased online only for the academic year.
Refunds for Parking Permits
Students who no longer require their parking permit can return their permit to Facilities - Maintenance and Operations, G102 for a pro-rated refund. Refunds will be credited to the credit card used to purchase the permit. If the credit card is no longer valid a cheque will be issued to the credit card holder. Refunds will require up to 10 business days for processing.
