Job Description
We are looking for Summer Students for Transportation and Utilities from May to the end of August. This position consists of a combination of field/office work which may include flagging for construction crews, operation of light-duty equipment (skid steer, packer) as well as computer work including but not limited to data entry, filing, and safety documentation (Field Level Hazard Assessment's).
Qualifications
Valid class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driver's abstract
Completing post-secondary, starting or returning to school in the fall preferred but not mandatory
Experience with administrative tasks including data entry (GIS experience an asset), filing, and completion of safety documentation
Excellent computer skills
Experience in SharePoint an asset
Ability to work independently as well as with others
Excellent customer service skills
Experience with the operation of light-duty equipment (skid steer, packer) an asset.
Additional Information
This position works Monday to Friday for 40 hours a week with some evening and weekend work as required.
Term length is from May to end of August.
Hourly Pay: $24.47 to $28.78.
