Description:
Stingray, Lloydminster has an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Master Control Operator at our television stations. Lloydminster is the only city in Canada that borders two different provinces; come join us in the border city! The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling the following:
1.Inserting designated commercials into live and recorded programs
2 Ensuring that all programs start and end at correct times
3 Monitoring network program feeds
4 On-Air Quality Control
5 Recording various satellite feeds for broadcast
6 Editing program feeds to the required length
7 Switching live events such as NFL Football, Emmys, Oscars, Juno’s, etc.
8 Monitoring substitutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1 Good math skills and attention to detail
2 Able to troubleshoot
3 Well organized and able to multi-task
4 Work well with others and be a team player
5 This position is shift work it requires the successful candidate to be able to work morning shifts, evening shifts and on weekdays and weekends
Additional Assets:
1 Well in versed in Windows Based Systems
2 Experience in a control room setting
