GRANDE PRAIRIE – GPRC is inviting area students looking to start their career or residents looking for a career change, to come on campus to experience student life and learn more about some of the programs GPRC offers.
Upcoming events include:
Educational Assistant Student for a Day, Nov 5 - Educational Assistants play an important role in the school system and in nine short months at GPRC, students can have the training necessary to work with teachers in schools. Join us for a fun morning, sit in on a class and see if this is the program for you. Call Kathy at 780-539-2753 by Nov. 3 to register. Maximum of 25 participants.
Fine Arts Student for a Day, Nov 5 - Experience firsthand what it's like to be a Fine Arts Student. Attend classes, meet instructors and current students, and have your pick of Music or Visual Arts for a breakout session. Call Tanya at 780-539-2443 to register.
Physical Education and Kinesiology (PEAK) Student for a Day, Nov 19 - Interested in being a personal trainer, physiotherapist, chiropractor, professional team coach, recreation program coordinator, or a teacher? Maybe you are considering being a strength and conditioning specialist, a sport psychologist or a massage therapist? Everything starts here! Come participate in activities, classroom sessions and meet instructors and current students.

Science Open House, Dec. 9 – High School students throughout the region will take part in sessions in the various science disciplines: biology, computer science, engineering, physics and chemistry. Meet instructors, talk with current students, and participate in demonstrations. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. Contact Dale at 780-539-2797 for more information.
