Women's Basketball recruit, Keeley Miller.
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2022-23 NWP Wolves Women’s Basketball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Bill Bradley is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Say hello to Keeley Miller.
Hailing from Westlock, Alberta, Miller is excited to not only join the wolfpack, but the NWP learning community. “I like the fact that students at NWP are more than just classmates,” she said. “They treat each other like family and it makes the team have that much better of a connection when we are on the court.”
Miller is bringing great experience with her to the Wolves. Having played for the RF Staples SR Varsity team since 2019, and recently becoming captain in her 2021-2022 season. Miller was also a 2021 club member of the Northern Selects Basketball Club.
In her upcoming rookie season, Miller is ready to put in the work and soak up every learning opportunity. “I am excited to learn from the other players on the team and gain a new set of skills from them and the coaches."
Head Coach, Bill Bradley is pleased to welcome Miller to the team.
“I expect Keeley to bring a defensive edge to our practices and games,” said Coach Bradley. “Having her available to match up against in practice will make her teammates better. I expect to see her guarding other team's top player at some point next season!”
Welcome to the pack, Keeley.
