The GPRC Creative sound and Recording Artist residency program is an initiative where emerging or professional sound artists, sound designers, composers and musicians are invited to come and work on their creations at the GPRC Recording Studios. This program is intended for artists that require extended focused time to explore, plan, compose and create new recordings or audio works in a professionally equipped recording studio.

Creating, knowing and sharing: The arts and cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Metis Peoples
- Travel Grant to share artistic works or cultural knowledge, participate in significant artistic or cultural events including pow-wows, undertake research activities, build professional and artistic networks, engage in professional development opportunities, and develop regional, national or international markets

Arts across Canada
- Circulation and touring – Grants support the presentation and exhibition of performances and works by Canadian artists which build national exposure and reach Canadian audiences.
Amount: Generally up to 50% of eligible costs, to a maximum of $200,000
Deadline: December 12, 2018 - Translation linked to the translation of Canadian literary works or dramatic works into French, English or an Aboriginal (First Nations, Inuit or Metis) language for Canadian publication or presentation
Amount: Up to $25,000 for each translation
Deadline: January 16, 2019 - Travel for activities linked to Canadian presentation, exhibition, artistic collaboration, networking and building market opportunities for Canadian artists, arts professionals, artistic groups and arts organizations. Grants provide support to participate in significant events, build a national presence and for festivals and presenters to conduct research for Canadian artistic programming
