More About Ross, Ronda
Ronda started her role of Development Officer, Alumni Engagement at the end of August 2019. She is responsible for increasing Alumni engagement within GPRC and the community.
Ronda began her career in medicine and quickly learned it was not for her so she changed her career path, obtained a diploma in Graphic Design, and worked at UBC Vancouver and Vancouver Island University in the areas of graphic design, event planning, professional development and alumni engagement.
Ronda was born and raised in Vernon, BC, in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. She grew up with an abundance of fresh fruit and veggies, spending summers outdoors swimming in the local lakes, camping, fishing, and 4x4ing in the mountains, and winters skiing and snowmobiling on Silver Star Mountain.
Ronda, her husband, and teenage son moved from BC to Grande Prairie in 2015 for her husband’s work. They enjoy travelling, going to the ¼ mile car races, and watching their son play sports. And at least once a month they drive to Dawson Creek for a BC fix to enjoy lunch at Whitespot!
