GRANDE PRAIRIE – Angela Logan, CPA CA, is the new Vice-President Administration at Grande Prairie Regional College (GPRC).
President and CEO Don Gnatiuk announced to faculty and staff of the College on Wednesday that Logan is the successful candidate for the position that leads GPRC’s facilities, financial services and information technology departments.
Logan holds a CPA CA designation and is currently working on a Master’s of Business Administration from Thompson Rivers University. She has served GPRC for the past five years as the Director of Financial Services and has held the position of Interim Vice-President Administration at GPRC since May 2017. Prior to coming to GPRC in 2012, Logan worked at MNP in Grande Prairie.
Logan is originally from Beaverlodge and is an alumna of GPRC having completed her first year of university at the College in 2000. She graduated from Dalhousie University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and completed her Chartered Accountant designation in 2007.
“We are so proud that after a very competitive recruitment process that attracted interest from around the world the best candidate is a GPRC alumna, from our region and already part of the GPRC community,” said Gnatiuk. “We involved staff and faculty in the selection process and their support and confidence in Angie to lead GPRC into the future was key in making the decision.”
In addition to her work at GPRC, Logan is involved in the community holding positions such as President of the Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park and Treasurer of the Mighty Peace Youth Society.
“I’m honoured and excited to continue to work with the staff and faculty at GPRC to serve the needs of our community,” said Logan. “GPRC is a vital part of our community and I look forward to the opportunity to be part of the future success of our students.”
