Judith Down is the Director of the Alberta Centre for Active Living (www.centre4activeliving.ca), a not for profit organization affiliated with the University of Alberta's Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation. The Centre is a key advocate of physcial activity for all Albertans and a primary source of research and education on physical activity for practitioners, organizations and decision-makers.
Judith will present information about the Centre’s goals and mandate “to improve the health and quality of life of Albertans through physical activity”.
This Speakers Series presentation is being hosted by GPRC’s Department of Physical Education, Athletics and Kinesiology (P.E.A.K.).
