Power Vinyasa Yoga
Power Yoga is an energetic and heating practice that challenges both your strength and flexibility. The class will be fast paced and may incorporate an inversion or an arm balance or sometimes both! Each class will vary slightly but you can always expect to breathe deeply and learn something new about your body. All levels are welcome and variations and modifications of each pose will be given.
There are currently NO POWER VINYASA CLASSES THIS SEMESTER. Check out HATHA YOGA as your Yoga Class Alternative
Bring comfortable and moveable clothing. Indoor shoes and your own personal Yoga Mat are OPTIONAL.
Participants are welcome to go at their own pace. If this is your first Yoga class, you're in for a real treat, there's no need to feel intimidated by the various Yoga movements and positions. It may be challenging but you'll quickly find out just how much better your body and mind feels after each session.
Classes are tailored each week to the overall fitness capabilities of the students participating - meaning any and all fitness levels are welcome to give a try! You can feel comfortable knowing you're doing what feels right, while at the same time, challenging yourself to increase your fitness level and overall well-being.
