Fitness Instructors Biography
I have always been passionate about being fit and then I discovered I was even more passionate about teaching and helping others get fit. I have been teaching fitness for over 25 years and it's still my very favorite job. Many people have asked, “What motivates me to keep teaching?” My motivation comes from all the beautiful, wonderful people that attend my classes. I become very attached to my people. I love to see them see results. My goal for every person who attends my classes is that they feel successful at the end of each one. Come have fun and get fit.
I've always enjoyed attending fitness classes, and about 6 years ago I decided to become an instructor! Certified by the AFLCA, my specialty is the Sculpt class format. I've enjoyed instructing classes with the Be Fit for Life Centre at Grande Prairie Regional College ever since! I like to make fitness FUN but also encourage my students to challenge themselves to the best of their ability. We have a lot of fun, come check out a class today!
As someone who has suffered from scoliosis, chronic pain, and anxiety my whole life; yoga for me has been a journey to healing. I started practicing yoga after exhausting every other avenue to live a pain free life. Being told numerous times I would never be healed drove my desire to stay consistent with my yoga practice. Five years later I am mentally and physically stronger than I have ever been. After completing my yoga training I believe the journey continues by helping to empower and motivate others on their own journey.
As a fitness instructor and CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer for over 5 years, I am excited to share a completely new original workout that simultaneously lengthens and strengthens every muscle in the body. Whether you are a novice or a conditioned athlete, come out for some fun, a challenge, and experience the Essentrics™ difference. “My passion lies in helping people and to enable them to discover the wonders of positive lifestyle changes with physical activity and celebrating in their success.”
Michelle Renee is a community Occupational Therapist and certified Bellyfit instructor. Her dance training started in 2011 and she has not looked back as she realized how important it was to incorporate women's health through movement. Michelle Renee's classes are not only about fitness but more important is to learn how to love your body while you sweat, shimmy, and shake!
I engage in yoga because I grow, I teach yoga because I grow with others. This growth is into a physically leaner, faster, and healthier body. It is growing into an awakened state, a relaxed awareness of my present being, yoga is a tool I use that anchors me to a point of view that is not attached to my surrounding environment. It is accessible to everyone who takes on a practice of their own.
I’ve been a yoga instructor for several years and within each one of my classes, I want to encourage people to be the best version of themselves possible. There is no doubt that physical activity is great for your body, and one of the main factors that I believe yoga brings to the table is challenging your mind. Growth is inevitable, I teach 'yoga' because I want to help others learn to be aware of who they are growing into and becoming.
My background in kinesiology, education and love of being active, especially in the outdoors, made becoming a fitness instructor a natural next step for me. What I love about fitness is that it gives people tools to take into the rest of their lives by building resilience and helping redefine what we believe we are capable of. When people come to my class, my goal is that they leave with a smile on their face feeling more confident and ready to take on the challenges life throws at them.
My name is Jennifer Buller and I love to dance!! It’s even better when it’s mixed with fitness and getting stronger! Dancing has been a part of my life for over 20 years with both children and adults. I love watching the joy on peoples faces as they rock out to tunes while their bodies are becoming more physically fit!
