Congratulations to all the Grande Prairie Regional College Graduates of 2020.
As the Elder-in-Residence, I want to take this time to say I am so grateful to have walked with you or crossed your path in the halls of GPRC. It is a great honor to know that with all the knowledge you have gained in your dedication to higher learning at GPRC, you will be the future change makers. You will take that knowledge and make changes not only within yourself but also within your families, communities and greater society.
To all of you "iikaakimat." In our Indigenous language it means never give up, keep going, do your best.
This has been a year like no other, and you are a graduating class like no other.
Perseverance is a trait of the wolf. You have all persevered through many challenges to complete your studies, and we know you will persevere and excel in your future endeavors. It’s in a wolf’s nature to form strong attachments and create a pack, and we know the relationships you have made with staff, instructors and each other will be lasting ones. You will always be part of the wolf-pack here at GPRC.
A unique year calls for a unique celebration, and we are excited to have honoured the achievements of our 2020 graduates with a virtual Convocation!
Celebrate with Us!
Even if you missed the ceremony live, you can still get in on the celebrations! Check out our feature video along with the congratulatory videos from our college and regional dignitaries!

We invite you to stay in touch and to remain an active and engaged member of our College Community. Our Alumni are changing the world, and there is no doubt that you will be among them.
