Stingray Radio Alberta is on the hunt for a Promotions Director/Morning Show Producer. Could it be you?
Red Deer is located right between Calgary and Edmonton on the QE2. We are more than “Gasoline Alley”. We have a ski hill, beautiful walking trails, the Red Deer Rebels hockey team, a Costco, and 2 count ‘em 2 Walmart’s!
You will be responsible for:
- Coordination of promotional, sales and programming campaigns
- Managing and maintaining promotional prizes and oversee the winner fulfillment process
- Organizing station events (i.e., trips, grand prize giveaways, movie premieres)
- On-site activations (i.e., concerts, trade shows, on-air cut ins, live broadcasts, community events)
- Overseeing the hiring, coaching and supervision of brand ambassadors
- Attending and participating in weekly meetings and brainstorms
- Creating wrap up reports for station events, promotions and campaigns
- Assisting in maintaining station websites and social media as required
- Overseeing station vehicle maintenance
- Potential announcing fill for remotes and events
We’re looking for you to have:
- Extremely detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong writing, power-point, photo-shop, and oral presentation skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Minimum 1 year of broadcast and/or radio promotions experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Production duties including editing “The Real Wake Up with Vinnie and Randi” for the network.
- News skills
- Music Master, Adobe Audition, and Wide Orbit knowledge
