We are looking for a Sales and Events Coordinator for Silvertip Resorts at Canmore, Alberta. A successful candidate is required to work as per the company values: Caring, Integrity, Excellence, Team spirit and Financial responsibility.

Job responsibilities:
Supporting the Area Sales and Events Manager at Silvertip Resort.
Performing office duties such as handling phone calls, emails, documentation, invoicing and menus.
Conducting property tours for Silvertip.
Attending events and marketing meetings and take minutes when required.
Organizing with convention booking from date of booking to departure, including meeting requirements, floor plans, food & beverage and audiovisual.
Coordinating with food and beverage production and service for events and weddings.
Establishing and maintaining rapport with clients prior to, during, and post-conference.
Managing files for current and new clients in the system.
Providing feedback from the client, both positive and constructive, to consistently improve offerings and service levels for events.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED requires. A certification or degree in Sales & Marketing is an asset.
1 - 2 years of sales and events management experience is required.
Experience with Planning weddings and working at a golf resort will be an asset.
Should be eligible to work in Canada full-time.
Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting program and MS Office.
Knowledge of capacities, types of events, audio-visual and any other relevant details in relation to function room set-up.
Should have strong verbal/written and listing skills.
Can commute to Silvertip Resort on a daily basis.
