Applied Research Policies
At GPRC we are committed to applied research but more importantly to Responsible Conduct of Research.
Currently, there are seven policies the guide applied research and matters related to intellectual property, commercialization and visiting scholars.
Responsible Conduct of Research
All applied research conducted by GPRC faculty or staff, either as Principal Investigator or as a Collaborator, and whether with human or animal subjects, must be done in an ethical manner. GPRC is committed to the Responsible Conduct of Research policy requirements of Tri-Council (NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR). Its policies are aligned with that commitment.
Persons conducting or interested in conducting research at or in conjunction with GPRC are also required to meet College policy and responsible conduct of research requirements.
