GPRC President and CEO President Don Gnatiuk and ACAD President and CEO Dr. Daniel Doz signed an agreement today that provides the opportunity for GPRC Fine Arts students to transfer directly into ACAD’s degree programs.
“This new partnership with ACAD means our GPRC Visual Arts and Design students can apply to directly to transfer into some of ACAD’s professional Bachelor of Fine Arts programs. This means the courses students take at GPRC in are recognized by ACAD so our students can seamlessly continue to pursue a degree in Fine Arts,” said Gnatiuk.
“ACAD is known for its excellence and is sought out by many of our graduates,” he said. “Creating this opportunity for students is a great example of how two institutions can work together and meet the needs of students.”
Dr. Doz remarked, “Formalizing an articulation agreement with GPRC puts the needs of Alberta students first and makes it easier for students to navigate their own unique learner pathways in the province. It is a pleasure to work with a team player such as GPRC who is a leader in spearheading new system approaches.”
