GPRC Hosts its 2019 Open House for Grade 12 students and the community Friday, November 8.
GRANDE PRAIRIE - Grade 12 students deciding their future can experience first-hand what a college education can mean to their lives and learn about all the programs GPRC offers during Open House 2019 on the GPRC Grande Prairie campus Friday, November 8.
“It’s an exciting time for Grade 12 students as they plan what career path they will take once they graduate next spring. Open House is a great way for them to see what college is all about and how GPRC can give them the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in today’s economy,” said Darlene MacDonald, Interim Director of Student Experience.
GPRC offers certificates, diplomas, apprenticeship and trades programming along with numerous pathways to complete a university degrees. All options will be on display during Open House 2019.
The morning sessions give Grade 12 and other high school students the opportunity to select a student-for-a-day experience. They will hear directly from GPRC faculty and staff about the programs of their choice to help them decide which program they would like to apply to attend in September 2020.
The afternoon is open to all students, parents and anyone else interested in furthering their education to advance their careers. The GPRC gymnasium will be filled interactive displays at which participants can meet instructors and staff.
