News Archives: Mariah Kyllo - ACAC Rookie of the Year

The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is pleased to announce Mariah Kyllo of the GPRC Wolves has been selected as the 2019-20 ACAC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Year.
Mariah entered her first season of ACAC having played in all 12 of the Wolves games this season including starting in 11. She started her season strong, scoring the Wolves 2 goals from the midfield during their home opener against Keyano on September 7. Mariah has brought a total of 10 points to the Wolves with 4 goals coming out of her 18 shots on net this season.
"I am delighted for Mariah. She has been brilliant for us," said Head Coach Chris Morgan. "Mariah scored a brace of goals in her debut game for GPRC in the ACAC and has been instrumental in her midfield role all season. She is a dynamic player with a wonderful personality. Mariah is a team player in every sense, she brings an intensity and work ethic to every practice and game that few can match."
Mariah hails from Grande Prairie and is currently enrolled in GPRC's Personal Trainer diploma. Her future goals include becoming a physical education teacher and continuing to play soccer for as long as she can.
This prestigious award was presented to Mariah Kyllo at the 2019 ACAC Women's Soccer Championship Ceremony held on October 24, 2019 in Edmonton, Alberta.
