Interactive multimedia development and support
Educational Technologies supports a 21st century learning environment that includes a place for all sorts of learning experiences, both in the classroom and the online environment. Hands-on experience is great, but some experiences can be challenging to provide to our students, due to travel difficulties, accessibility or cost. By providing digital interactive options you can transform a student’s passive learning to active experience that is just a click away and is designed to function on a variety of devices and platforms. These activities can range from simple course material review to whole new experiences that really enhance student experience
Educational Technologies has staff members who are experienced with Articulate Storyline2 and Raptivity for learning activity creation. We can build these activities for you, or provide training so you can make your own. Additionally, we have experienced web developers who are excited to develop something in-house based on your exact requirements. If you can dream it, we can make it happen.
Some of our past projects include:
This chronological history review game (developed in-house)
Virtual Field Trips
Virtual Field Trips are multimedia content collections built around a particular space rather than some pedagogical or theoretical element. The essential idea is to enable students to engage with content in an interactive fashion in an online environment that, in so far as possible, mirrors a real experience – just like when your grade school class took a trip to the zoo to learn about animals. These field trips enable access to locations and experiences that would otherwise be out of reach for some students or classrooms, due to distance, cost or limited access.
Educational Technologies is proud to host our Virtual Field Trips as Open Educational Resources. They can be accessed from the side bar on the right. Please feel free to take, use and modify them as you see fit for your own classroom.

Peace Region K-12 Development Program
Grande Prairie Regional College has its own development pipeline for these projects, but we also welcome applications for project ideas that would benefit the K-12 education from our larger service area. If you are a Peace Region teacher and have a brilliant idea about how we could use this technology please use the application form link on the right to let us know. We hope to take on a few projects each year from this list, so please get in touch!
