The author of numerous articles and presentations designed to help Westerners learn to do business in Asia will be speaking in a free public lecture at Grande Prairie Regional College on Tuesday, February 6, 2007. The lecture is presented by the GPRC Speakers Series and the GPRC School of Business.
Professor Mark Loo will outline the complexity of doing business in the world’s biggest marketplace: Asia. With over half the world’s six billion population, this prized target market encompasses diverse cultures, races and languages. The importance of doing business with Asia is evident, and a better understanding between the cultures is invaluable.
Mark Loo has been an instructor for international BBA and MBA programs for 15 years, has spent 14 years as an international marketer in diverse industries, and 12 years as an international trainer providing customized programs to over 150 clients in nine countries.
At present, Mark Loo is the Principal Consultant, Marketing and Management, Peak Pursuit Training Consultancy and Strategic Marketing and Sales Academy, Malaysia (1995-2006.)
Professor Loo has written or contributed to several publications aimed at those involved in international business, particularly in Asia.
