GPRC Speakers Series - Darryl Bereziuk, Archaeologist

The GPRC Speakers Series is proud to present Darryl Bereziuk, Northern Archaeologist with the Archaeological Survey of Alberta (Ministry of Alberta Community Development. A graduate of the University of Alberta, he has been actively involved in Northern Alberta Archaeology and research for almost twenty years.
In this free public lecture, Mr. Bereziuk will present findings about the human prehistory of the Peace Region and the important archaeological sites and collections within the area. He will also examin the cultural and environmental mysteries surrounding the earliest human colonization and occupation of the Peace Region which dates back to more than 10,000 years ago, following the disappearnace of the Ice Age glaciers from this area.
