1st Annual GPRC Student Research Conference
Theme: “We Are All Researchers”
The Student Research Conference is a celebration of many different kinds of research GPRC students do every day. This is a multidisciplinary conference that embraces research from all realms of scholarship. Join GPRC Research and Innovation, our student presenters, and keynote speakers Dr. Cora Voyageur and Brian Calliou at our 1st Annual Student Research Conference. This event is FREE and lunch is provided.

About the Keynote Speakers
Dr. Cora Voyageur (’88) is a sociology professor and researcher at the University of Calgary. Voyageur’s community-involved research focuses on Indigenous experiences in Canada, especially women’s issues, politics, employment, and economic development. She is the author of ten books and several articles on Indigenous issues.
Brian Calliou (’88) is the Director of Indigenous Leadership and Management at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. The holder of two law degrees and the author of over a dozen publications on Indigenous community development, governance, and social issues, Calliou is an important thought leader on Indigenous issues in Canada’s northwest.
