More About King, Tracy
I have been a Registered Nurse since 1999 when I graduated from the collaborative BScN program with GPRC and the UofA. I have worked in medicine, palliative care, rural hospitals, addictions and mental health, vascular and thoracic surgery, camp nursing, and some private practive with Veteran's Affairs. I have a passion for working with vulnerable populations and ensuring that health care service is fair and just. I have wanted to teach since my 3rd year of my undergraduate degree so I am very happy to have this opportunity. I am currently working towards a Master's degree in Nursing through the University of Saskatchewan. I am very family oriented and love to host dinner and game nights in my home. Special interests professionally include the concepts of compassion, justice, addictions and empathy. I currently teach in years 1 and 3 of the undergraduate nursing program as well as in the unit clerk program.
