More About Evans, Mark
Mark Evans started in the Communications and Marketing department at GPRC in 2015. He graduated from Augustana University College in Camrose in 1994 with a Bachelor of History that focused on Canadian History. In 1995 he graduated from the University of King’s College in Halifax, NS., with a Bachelor of Journalism.
He worked for the next approximately 10 years at newspapers in Vermilion AB., and Grande Prairie, AB., in various positions including reporter, editor, online editor and city editor.
In 2006, he made the switch from Journalism to Communications moving to work at Peace Country Health which later become part of Alberta Health Services. In 2010 he completed a Masters of Arts in Communication and Technology at the University of Alberta.
He left Alberta Health Services’ Communication and Community Engagement department to join GPRC’s External Relations division to have the opportunity to share the successes of the College’s faculty, staff and students with the community and future students.
