a graduate of our program, you will gain the skills to repair and maintain many different brands and models
of street, off-road, and dual sport bikes.
Motorcycle Mechanic Apprenticeship
Through a combination of on-the-job and classroom training, students will gain the expertise needed to become
a skilled tradesperson. Motorcycle mechanics' duties include assembly, pre-delivery, inspection,
maintenance, repair and restoration of motorcycles and other multi-wheeled lightweight all-terrain vehicles
that have astride seating and handlebar controls.

Motorcycle Mechanic Certificate
As a Motorcycle Mechanic, you repair and maintain many different brands and models of street, off-road, and
dual sport bikes. This popular program gives you the required experience to land your first job. Our
students receive training in motorcycle charging, starting and ignition systems, four-stroke tuning and top
end diagnosis, inspection and reconditioning procedures, transmissions, crankshaft repair and more.
Graduates of this program may have the opportunity to challenge the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry
Training (AIT) exams for first and second year Motorcycle Mechanic.

GPRC is home to the only authorized training centre in Canada for Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. In this
