Topic One: Mr. Cocoran has taught in Business Administration at GPRC since the Fall of 1991. Through his teaching and work experience, he has developed expertise in the areas of Marketing, Business Communications (Business Writing, Public Speaking, Promotional Writing, etc.) and E-Commerce. In 1998, he assumed the Chair of the Department and is currently serving his second 3 year term as Chairperson.
Topic Two: Mr. Cocoran has been a competitive runner for over 25 years, competing in many local, national and international competition including the Boston Marathon. As coach of the GPRC Cross Country running team, he has developed one of the top college cross country running programs in Canada. He also coaches a number of high school age athletes who compete for the Wapiti Striders Track Club, some who have gone on to win provincial and national championships. In 1999, he launched a online running coaching service and currently works with a number of "recreationally competitive" athletes throughout North America and Europe.
