Sexual Rights are Human Rights – Elder Project (CRM19)
Description
The purpose of this presentation is to talk to caregivers or supports (such as nurses and home caregivers) of mature individuals - elderly, and adult individuals with disabilities, who have past and/or current sexual abuse or trauma. You will learn how to deal with a situation if a disclosure or abuse were to occur. This presentation will reach caregivers of a population that has, until this point, received little information on the subject of Sexual Violence, and while remains unrecognized is a very vulnerable population.
Facilitated by: Denay Bjornson, Public Awareness Coordinator at Pace
