Development Officer, Community Relations
The Development Officer is responsible for implementing a comprehensive fund raising program designed to provide contributed income to Grande Prairie Regional College and collaborating in the coordination of donor recognition and stewardship program. The Development Officer is a key member of the Community Relations development team with input into institutional development processes.
A Diploma in Business Administration or related field, plus two years’ related experience, is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. A Certified Fundraising Executive designation and working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge would be desired.
The successful candidate is proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and Publisher; has exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; and has a proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with supporters.
This full-time, term-certain position will commence when a suitable candidate is found, and end January 31, 2017. Grande Prairie Regional College offers an attractive benefits package and a salary range of $4,344.00 to $5,942.00 per month.
