The Arts and Education Department requires a Sociology Instructor to teach undergraduate level courses in Introductory Sociology, Globalization, Sociology of Gender as well as Deviance and Conformity.
An M.A. in Sociology is required; PhD is desired. Evidence of successful instruction of undergraduate courses in Sociology is also required. Familiarities with current educational technologies commonly found in classrooms (e.g., videoconferencing, Moodle) are desired.
This full-time sessional position will commence January 1, 2014, and will end May 15, 2014. Grande Prairie Regional College offers an attractive benefits and remuneration package. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
