As the Systems and Support Analyst, you will be the first and last link of the on-campus information technology chain, from front-line customer service and troubleshooting through to deployment, planning, researching and developing. You must be able to maintain a consistent and transparent technology platform for the use of all campus staff, while quickly and accurately identify trouble spots and working to prevent or correct them. Individual trouble calls must be received, documented and addressed in a timely manner, in balance with the more proactive and overarching responsibilities of this position, requiring a high level of triage skill and time management.
An Applied Information Systems Diploma or equivalent, plus two years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Candidates must have good communication, interpersonal, and organization skills and be able to work with minimum supervision. In addition, candidates must be able to complete some heavy lifting as required.
This full-time position will commence as soon as possible. Grande Prairie Regional College offers an attractive benefits package and a starting salary of $4778.00 per month.
