GPRC Wolves Festival of Gold 2017

We are reminiscing about honouring our GPRC Wolves athletes this morning on blog.

The 47th annual Festival of Gold celebration happened on our GPRC Grande Prairie campus this past Friday, March 31.

Congratulations to all our GPRC athletes for the fantastic work you’re doing inside the classroom and on the field, track, or court,” said GPRC President and CEO, Don Gnatiuk at the celebrations. “GPRC athletes represent our community and region across the province and across Canada. You are ambassadors of not only GPRC but our region. The entire community is proud of your accomplishments.

Our GPRC Wolves had an incredible year. Bringing home 11 ACAC All Conference awards3 provincial ACAC medals and representing GPRC at the national level on multiple occasions.

Not only do our athletes excel in their sports of course but many are at the top of their classes. With nine individual athletes receiving a Academic Award this year.

Congratulations to all our athletes that were honoured at Friday’s event.

Wolves Athletics has always been a big part of our college and our community. You are all part of that strong tradition,” said Gnatiuk. “Be proud of your achievements, you all deserve recognition for what you have accomplished. Celebrate your success!
