GPRC Wolves Featured Athletes of the Week: November 26, 2018

Each week, two GPRC Wolves athletes are selected for their achievements over the weekend on the field, track, or court. We are pleased to congratulate Kelly Reid from the Wolves Women’s Basketball team and Michael Shelast from our Wolves Men’s Basketball team as our current Featured Athletes of the Week!

Kelly Reid #15

Program: 1st Year, Visual Arts & Design
Position: Guard/Forward
Hometown: St. Albert, Alberta

Hailing from St. Alberta, this is Kelly’s first year running with the Wolves. Kelly is a high energy player coming off the bench for the Wolves. When Kelly is on the court, her competitiveness fuels her to do whatever the team needs from her in that moment. Her physical presence on the boards make her tough to stop. She has the ability to get a stop, score a key basket or grab a crucial rebound whenever we need it.

Well done, Kelly!

Michael Shelast #11

Program: 2nd Year, Business Administration
Position: Forward
Hometown: Edmonton, Alberta

Michael is from Edmonton, graduating from Holy Trinity Catholic High School. Michael is enrolled in Business Administration program and works hard in both the classroom and the gymnasium. Michael has been relied upon to come off the bench and play shutdown defense, guarding the opponents giants at the post. Michael had a great past weekend in Edmonton, helping the Wolves sweep the previously undefeated Concordia Thunder.  The Wolves are very pleased to have Michael be a part of the Wolf-pack.

Well done, Michael!
