2017 College Classic

2017 College Classic

At the beginning of the month, GPRC had their beloved annual fundraising event, the College Classic.

Golfers from near and far joined us at the Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club on Friday, June 2 for a fun day filled of golfing, delicious food, drinks and amazing auction and raffle prizes.

Thank you to all our amazing sponsors and donors for their generous contributions.

The golfing kicked off mid-morning with GPRC President and CEO, Don Gnatiuk signalling the start time with GPRC Wolves mascot, Farley.

Farley even got in on the golf action. Showing off his skills at the Sink It To Win – Putting Contest.

In true Grande Prairie fashion, a short down pour delayed play for an hour but that didn’t stop our GPRC supporters from making the best of their time starting silent auction and raffle bids early.

And before we knew it, they were back on the course.

College Classic committee member and emcee of the evening, Brody Thomson welcomed guests in after a fun day out on the course.

President & CEO, Don Gnatiuk then thanked each and every single one of the individual who helped make the 2017 College Classic so special.

A delicious smoked salmon and BBQ chicken dinner was served before Kevin Tink of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers started the live auction bidding! Thank you GP Golf & Country Club for the delicious meal and Kevin Tink for the energy you bring to our auctions.

The 2017 College Classic was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our college. Your generous contributions are vital to GPRC.
