Program: 1st Year, Business Administration Position: Midfielder Hometown: Vernon, British Columbia
Hailing from Vernon, B.C., Sydney is in her first year at GPRC and we are so pleased to have her part of the women’s soccer program. A dynamic player with explosive pace, and a tremendous shot, Sydney proved her versatility playing in a number of positions for the team this year. Sydney has an excellent work ethic allied with a feisty competitive nature. Her vibrant personality both on and off the field is a joy to witness. Thank you Sydney for your dedication to the Wolves!
Program: 4th Year, Open Studies Position: Forward Hometown: Brooklyn, New York
Alex Joseph is a forward in his second ACAC season with the Wolves. A Brooklyn, New York native, Alex is a dynamic forward who was heavily relied on, and helped the Wolves finish 11-13, just outside of the playoffs. Next season, Alex will be depended on and play a large role in leading the Wolves to the playoffs. Thank you Alex for your dedication to the Wolves!

Program: 1st Year, Educational Assistant Position: Guard/Forward Hometown:LaCrete, Alberta
Heidi has been a great addition to the GPRC Wolves Women’s Basketball team. An aggressive forward, Heidi is often tasked with defending our opponents best stretch 4. Her ability to play both inside and on the perimeter make her tough to contain. We’re excited to have her as part of the pack!

Program:University Transfer Kinesiology Position: Guard Hometown: Grande Prairie, Alberta
Logan is a 2nd year guard for the Wolves Men’s Basketball team. Logan was born and raised in Grande Prairie, graduating from Grande Prairie Composite High School. Logan is enrolled in the Kinesiology program and puts in the work in both the gym and in the classroom. Logan strives for excellence, achieving the highest GPA on the team. He also works hard in the gym. We’re excited to have him back after a season ending injury that required surgery in the off-season.

Program: 1st Year, University Transfer Kinesiology/Education Position: Forward Hometown: La Crete, Alberta
Darian is a first year forward for the Wolves Men’s Basketball Team. Originally from La Crete, Darian is studying both Kinesiology and Education, working on a dual degree. Darian grew up on a farm and has learned how to take that strength to the basketball court. Darian is an extremely hardworking and that shows through the effort he puts in at the gym, on the court and in the classroom. Darian gives 100% in all that he does. Wolves Athletics are very pleased to have Darian as part of the Wolf pack and look forward to his continuing impact on the team!

Program: 1st Year, Business Administration Position: Libero Hometown: Grande Prairie, Alberta
Taylor is in her first season with the Wolves and is studying Business Administration at GPRC.
Taylor had a successful high school volleyball career at St. Joseph High School, and played club volleyball for the Velocity Club in Grande Prairie. Taylor was a Left Side attacker for her club and high school teams, but was recruited to the Wolves program as a libero. Taylor has worked hard and done a great job transitioning to a new position. She is proving herself as a solid, passer with a great touch on the ball and a strong defender with great instincts!

4th Year, Bachelor of Education, TEN Program Outside Hitter Hometown: Grande Prairie, Alberta
Megan, hailing from Grande Prairie, is in her 4th year of the Bachelor of Education program at GPRC. She serves as a co-captain to the Wolves squad and is the veteran Outside Hitter of the team. Megan’s attacking skills are widely respected across the league and have earned her ACAC All-Conference and CCAA All-Canadian honors in the past two seasons. Recently this season, Megan recorded 16 and 17 kills per match in weekend play vs NAIT. She is dedicated to all aspects of the Wolves program and works hard to represent GPRC academically, athletically and in a leadership capacity.
1st Year, Bachelor of Education, University Transfer Guard Hometown:Ngatea, New Zealand
Liam was a force to be reckoned with this past weekend (October 26-27) in ACAC Basketball league play. Friday, Liam scored 16 points and added 4 rebounds which crowned him with Player of the Game status. While on Saturday, Liam turned it up another notch scoring 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Liam can be relied on to be productive on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Offensively, Liam is averaging 21 points per game. Defensively, Liam is averaging 6 rebounds a game and 1.5 steals per game.

Erin Grier returns to school this season and embarks on a new challenge: XC Running. This Mother-of-Four/Ultra Marathoning/Wolves Athlete, Erin has competed in a number of half marathon, marathon, and ultra marathon races in the past few years, but the 6 km ACAC XC distance is uncharted territory for her. Grier looks forward to learning the ins and outs of “short distance” racing with the help of her younger Wolves teammates.

Miguel Macedo enters his rookie year as one of the top runners on the Wolves men’s team. In his Grade 12 year, Miguel placed 3rd in the ASAA NW Zone XC Running Championships and 8th in the 1500m at the ASAA High School Provincials. Miguel credits his teammate and fellow SRRA graduate Eric Nooy for pushing him in races and practice and making him a better runner and better person.
