GPRC Women's Basketball ID Camp
GPRC Women's basketball will be holding an open ID camps, to identify talented players in the region who are interested in representing the Wolves Women’s Basketball Program as future Student Athletes. The Camp is open to grades 11-12+ (graduates) and Recruits.

5:00 - 5:25pm – Registration at GPRC Gymnasium – In addition to Camp registration, interested athletes are encouraged to arrange a meeting earlier in the day with one of our Academic Advisors by contacting Brenda Lindquist (Blindquist@GPRC.ab.ca).
5:30 - 8:30pm: Session #1(On Court) - This session will be on the court and focus on individual skills and competition situations.
8:30 - 9:00pm: Session #2 (Classroom) - Wolves Women’s Basketball Information - This will be an introduction to what the Wolves program is about & what it takes to be a successful Student Athlete.

9:00 - 10:30am: Session #3 (On Court) - Fitness Testing - Athletes will be tested through various fitness tests by the Alberta Sport Development Center and Wolves Strength Coach, Kayla Dodson, B.HK, M.SpSc, ISAK 1, WL 1.
10:30 - 11:30am: Session #4 (Classroom) – Introduction to Sports Psychology and the importance of Mental Training in college sports with Wolves Mental Performance Consultant, Matthew Bain, M.Ed., M.A..
11:30am - 12:30pm: Session #5 (Around the College) - College & Residence Tour – Potential Student Athletes will have a chance to tour the College and Residence and learn about the application process.
12:30 - 1:30pm -- Lunch
- 1:30 - 4:00pm: Session #5 (On Court) – Competition & Scrimmage - Final session of the weekend, where we will have 5v5 scrimmages, while the coaching staff will have the opportunity to meet and speak individually with athletes.
