GPRC Residence is home to 503 students who choose the carefree lifestyle of being on campus.

What are the rooms like?

Each residence apartment contains furnished bedrooms, kitchens, living areas and full bathrooms. Utilities and cablevision are included in the rental/fee structure. All Residents can rent their own private phone lines if they wish. Internet is included in the rent for all units. Coin laundry facilities are provided.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring dishes, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils. You may wish to bring a toaster and maybe a Microwave if you have one. Ttoiletries, personal effects, blankets, towels, and entertainment systems are among the items you should bring with you to make residence life comfortable.

How much does residence cost?

When is rent collected?

For the academic year rent is collected prior to the beginning of each semester. For Family Housing rent is collected on a monthly basis.

Is there a security deposit?

The Family Housing units have a security deposit of $400. For all other units, a $200 deposit is made when Rental Agreement is signed, $150 ($350 Family) of which becomes a refundable Security Deposit with the rest directed toward Residence Programming.

How are rooms assigned?

You can apply to live in Residence any time of the year. Applications for the next Fall/Winter semester that are recieved before January 31st are randomly drawn and the rooms are assigned by the end of February. Applications recieved after January 31st are added on in the order they are recieved.

Is summer residence available?

GPRC Residence is available for summer tenancy between May 1 and August 15. Available for rent are 3-person, or 4-person units. Rent is paid on a monthly basis in the summer term. Contact the housing Office for more information.
