Scholarships, Awards & Bursaries
Grande Prairie Campus
The Awards Program, coordinated through the Financial Aid and Awards office, provides financial assistance, incentives and rewards to eligible students to encourage them in their pursuit of post-secondary education. GPRC awarded over $270,000 in scholarships, awards, and bursaries last year.
Scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of academic merit or excellence.
Awards reward academic achievement but also require the recipient to demonstrate special qualities that match the priorities of the donor, such as community involvement or financial need.
Bursaries are awards based on financial need and reasonable academic standing.
