All Peace Protection is the current security guard provider for the Grande Prairie and Fairview Colleges. All Peace Protection has a security office located at the Main Entrance of the Grande Prairie Campus and at the Facilities Operations at the Fairview Campus.

All Peace Protection Security Mission Statement

Our purpose is to protect Academic Students , non-academic students, and GPRC Staff by providing a safe and secure environment for those who live at, attend classes, and teach, as well as the public who visit the campus. This will be achieved by forming positive partnerships with local support groups and the Grande Prairie and Fairview RCMP Detachments. All Peace Protection is committed to delivering a high quality service to our community and campuses in an effective and professional manner, 24 hours, 365 days of the year.

Security Blue Phones

Security phones located throughout the campus, both in interior of the GPRC and the exterior in the parking lots. Locate and be aware of the locations of these security phones. All calls are directed to Campus Security or to dispatch. Currently, there are no security phones at the Fairview Campus. Familiarity with the APP Fairview Campus security phone numbers is also crucial.

Work Alone Policy

While on campus, any staff or students working alone should contact security to inform them that you are on site. Information security will require includes:

1. Location
2. Name of student
3. How long you will be in the room
4. An authorization letter from a faculty member
5. Contact number / cell phone number
6. How many members are in the office/study room

This will allow security to be aware of who are working late in the college. This is important for the safety of the staff and students.

Safe Walk Program

Campus Security provides this service 24 hours a day during the year. Please contact Grande Prairie Campus Security at 780 539-2700 or the Fairview campus at 780 835-1164 to set up this service. Allow up to 30 minutes for security to attend and assist. If an escort is required to a vehicle, or to or from residence, meet at the security office located at the Main Entrance of the Grande Prairie Campus or any designated area at the Fairview Campus.
