Nursing Education - Diploma Completion

This program may be an option for students who entered the University of Alberta Bachelor of Science in Nursing Collaborative Program in September 1997 or later and who have completed years one and two in that program:

Diploma year, 21 credits
NS 3900 (5) Nursing in Context C
NS 3910 (7) Nursing Practice V
NS 3980 (3) Management of Complex Situations
NS 3990 (6) Transition of the Graduate Role 

Diploma completion students are not required to take the Senior Elective or Research and Statistics courses as listed in Year 2 and year 3 of the Collaborative BScN Program.

By April 30 of the second year, students must indicate to the Department in writing if they wish to pursue the Diploma Completion option in Third Year.
