Student plays violinThe GPRC Fine Arts Conservatory offers private and class instruction for students of all ages and abilities. Private instruction is offered in baritone, Instructor with Student clarinet, flute, guitar, horn, music technology, piano, percussion, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, tuba, violin, voice, musical theatre and theory. Classes are available in Music for Young Children, Adult Voice Workshops, photography, and digital imagery. Music students may prepare for examinations with Conservatory Canada or the Royal Conservatory of Music. Student recitals are held throughout the year.

The Conservatory teaching staff is comprised of Grande Prairie Regional College faculty from the Fine Arts Department, local professional musicians and artists, local and selected college students. Fees for music lessons range from $15.00 to $45.00 per half hour lesson. There is a non-refundable annual registration fee of $40.00 per student or $60.00 per family.
