Before you start, please read the following:
- Only full-year parking permits are available online.
- The following permits are only available for purchase at the Cashier's Office:
- One-semester passes
- Lot H
- Disabled Parking
- Payroll deduction for qualified staff
- • Residence parking (Lots G, J & L) are only available to residence students. Permits are sold online on August 15. 2011 at 8:00am (First come – First serve). Please visit Residence Parking or contact Housing for more information at 780-539-2802.
- Online purchased permits are available for pickup at the Cashier’s Office C315 – at least ONE FULL BUSINESS DAY after the sale is completed. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Payroll deduction is not available for online purchases. Please proceed to the Cashier’s Office for purchase on payroll deduction.
 | We are sold out of parking permits for lots A/C and B/F. There are still plenty of parking spaces available on campus including lot D, a non-powered lot, along the ring road near the baseball diamonds. Lot D permits are available for purchase on-line and in person at the cashier's office. Alternatively, there are powered stalls available to non-residence students in lot L of our residence area. Lot L permits must be purchased in person through our Housing Office. If you wish to discuss other parking alternatives please call 780-539-2923. |
Parking Information
Primary Parking
The information detailed here applies to parking at the Grande Prairie Campus
There are eight main lots available for parking on the Grande Prairie Campus. Parking fees apply to these lots and vary according to services provided on each lot. Parking spaces provide close and easy access to campus entrances on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free Parking
All lots and metered areas are free on weekends and after 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. each weekday.
Occasional or Temporary Parking
Parent Parking
The College currently has twelve parking stalls on campus intended for parents with children registered in College programs. Six stalls are located in front of the gymnasium and six stalls in Lot C. Permits are required Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from September 1 to April 30.
Temporary or Occasional Visitor Parking
Ticket dispensers located at the Presidents Island, Lot C and Lot K
Metered Parking
Operational 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday all year. Rates are $1.00 per hour and 2 hour maximum. Meters are located in B lot and in front of L Wing entrance. There is no parking dispenser in A Lot or F lot.
Parking permits are available from the Cashier in Room C315, beginning July 15. Permits may only be purchased on-line or in person at the Cashier’s office. All parking fees quoted include G.S.T.
Student Residence Parking Permits are available to purchase online August 15, 2011 @ 8:00 am on a first come – first serve basis.

Parking Refunds
Refund procedures are outlined in the “Conditions Governing Parking Permits” contract given to the permit holder at the time of purchase. If you no longer require your parking permit, you may be eligible for a partial refund if you return your pass to the Cashier’s Office, Room C315 (or to the Housing Office for Residence parking only).
