Computers in the GPRC Library
Alward Lab
There are 24 computers inside the Alward lab. These computers are for students who wish to do research, word processing, or use the internet. There are six computers just outside the lab. These are specifically for students doing research. For help with logging in to these computers, click here.
Multimedia Lab
Our Multimedia Lab has three computers with various mulitmedia programs and equipment. See Multimedia Help for more information.
Public Access Computers
There are four Public Access Computers (PACs) in the library. These computers are freely available to our public partrons.
Your H-Drive (network space)
Students are allocated individual space on the GPRC network for saving their work. This space is your Home Directory (H:) in Network Drives when viewed in My Computer.
On-Campus Access to Network Space
Once you log in to an Alward Lab station , you are immediately accessing your network space. My Documents and Desktop are automatically synchronized to your home directory (H-drive). When you save your work to My Documents or Desktop, it is saved to the your network space and may be accessed from any GPRC computer lab station on campus.
Off-Campus Access to Network Space
Your network space can also be accessed from home or anywhere else off-campus by logging in through Student Online. For more information on off-campus access see Login Procedures From Home.
Printing and Photocopying in the GPRC Library

Printing is available on all log-in computers. You cannot print on Public Access Computers (PACs)

Photocopiers are located in the Self-Production Room (F212) on the main floor of the GPRC Library.

Copy cards for the photocopiers can be purchased at the GPRC Library Circulation Desk.
