Your Library card / College ID

Students – Your Student ID is your library card. You will need this card to borrow books, place holds on items in the catalogue, log into a computer, and use a study room.

Faculty/Staff – Faculty and staff of GPRC will receive a Staff ID, which doubles as a library card

Your TAL (The Alberta Library) card

If you have a current GPRC Library Card you can get The Alberta Library (TAL) card to borrow materials from other Alberta Libraries. Register for a TAL Card at one of the Circulation Desks.


My Library Account

The My Account feature in the NEOS Catalogue allows you to:

    • Check the due dates of items you have out
    • Renew your library items
    • Check and/or cancel your holds placed on items
    • Check if you have fines
    • Change your PIN

To log in, go to the library catalogue and click on My Account. Use your User ID (barcode on library card) and password (last four digits of barcode) 

Renewing Items

You can renew your items online by going to My Account in the NEO Catalogue.
You can also renew items by contacting your campus library Circulation Desk.

Library Notices through email

As a courtesy, correspondence from the libraries is sent through your GPRC student, faculty or staff email account. You may receive the following information about your account by email:
  • A reminder email that your items are soon due
  • Holds you have placed that have arrived at the library for pickup
  • Interlibrary Loans you have placed that have arrived at the library for pickup
  • A recall notice that your loan period has been shortened due to an outstanding request
  • A fine notice that you have returned an item late.
