In-House Professional Development activities are now available for staff at GPRC. An exciting and the most recent initiative is the Achieving Leadership Fundamentals for Application (ALFA) Program.

GPRC offers faculty and staff an opportunity to participate in and present on various sessions during the annual Professional Development Day. Professional Development (PD) Day is scheduled for Thursday August 25, (GP Campus), throughout the week of August 22 to August 26 (FV Campus) and includes sessions focussing on work/life balance, pedagody, current research, wellness sessions, keynote sessions and more. Staff that would like to share their knowledge with their colleagues also have an opportunity to present during the day on their own research, or professional or personal interest.

Continuing Education - GPRC Staff Only Discount

Staff can also register for non-credit courses provided through Continuing Education with computer course fees reduced by 20% (CPA & Nexient courses excluded) and a reduction of 10% for most other courses. Please call Continuing Education (GP Campus) and/orContinuing Education (FV Campus) directly for details on course discounts.
