Video Information System
Theatre & Events currently operates the Video Information System deployed across the Grande Prairie campus.
Usage Guidelines
If you wish to post something on the V.I.S. please note the following requirements:
- Use of the VIS will be limited to college related business and activities.
- Slides must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
- Slides are accepted in following formats
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Finalized jpg or png images (do your own composing!)
- You can e-mail or sneakernet your files to
- DJCTheatre@gprc.ab.ca. (Put VIS in the Subject field.)
- The Theatre & Events office (D218)
- Please remember ;
- Clipart, pictures and images must be limited to legal sources.
- Limit text to 5 lines or less per slide. The smallest font size recommended is 32.
- This is a public display, so content must be kept appropriate.
- We reserve the right to balance out content and to adjust any slide as necessary.
- Entire Display rotation length will be kept to approx. one minute.
- So each slide is 5-7 seconds max. Create your advertisements with this in mind.
