At Immigrant Settlement Services we welcome all newcomers, including immigrants, refugees, temporary foreign workers and live-in caregivers, as well as those whose lives they touch. We provide settlement assistance and strive to increase community awareness and acceptance of newcomers.
Services include:
- Help with government applications
- Support for Live-in Caregivers
- Supportive Counseling and Guidance
- Resources including telephone, fax, printer, computer and internet access
- Citizenship classes
- Public education and awareness
Services are available in English, French, Ateso, Bulgarian, Hausa, Hindi, Igbo, Luganda, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Turkish, Urdu, and Yoruba. Translation and interpretation can also be arranged for other languages.
