Hi there, my name is Steve. I am 37 years old and I lead a reasonably active lifestyle yet I am not completely protected from possible health problems. High Blood pressure and other heart problems often rear their ugly heads in my family history, in 1999 I wore a 24 hour blood pressure monitoring cuff so that my BP could be read periodically through the day. Often the Systolic reading would be over 200. Numbers that high in someone who was only 30 years old at the time were very alarming.
I began to participate in the Fit & Firm Challenge and my blood pressure dropped to perhaps the best reading I have seen since I graduated from High School. After completing the Fit ‘n Firm, I visited my doctor for a regular check-up and when he told me my blood pressure was 112/70 I was overjoyed. 112/70 is the best reading I have seen in an awfully long time and 6 years ago I could never dream of seeing numbers that positive. The Fit & Firm Challenge also helped me to reduce my BMI to under 22 and my overall body fat % went from the 20% range to 7.8%. Those numbers are representative of the healthiest I have ever been in my life, thanks Fit & Firm, thanks Laura and the Be Fit for Life Staff and thanks and continued good luck to everyone who is involved in this regular fitness challenge. Health is a great gift and must not be wasted, it really is easy to just do it and get active!

Thank you for helping me lose 35 lbs. I have tried many times before and have never been able to keep it off. This time is different. Through your seminars I now know this is a lifetime commitment. Although the challenge is over I still am going to the gym and have continued to lose weight.
When I joined the challenge my goal was to win the money. Second place was not a option. About half way through the program I realized the money was not the goal. My personal well being was. What was happening as I continued to loose weight and get into even better shape my self esteem and well being increased proportionally. The way I feel today is the way I always want to feel forever. So in saying that I have the confidence to say I will continue my exercise routine indefinitely thanks to your "Fit n' Firm Challenge."

This past weekend in Red Deer I completed my first full marathon! My time stunk, but I finished! Just think, not even a year ago, I couldn't run around a football field without wanting to fall over dead....I just ran 26.2 miles!!
Again, it was the opportunity you gave me with Fit N Firm that gave me the kick in the butt I needed to get in shape!

Hi Laura,
I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you and Jenn for your help during the Fit'n Firm challenge. My 12 weeks are up and while I may not see any money, I'm pleased I completed it.
The seminars were very informative and entertaining. Jenn was great during the mid month check and even the final assessment.
My wife is "seeing less" of me, I've thrown out some old clothes and can't wait to buy new, smaller ones.

Highlights of the challenge for me were definitely the seminars. Even though there was a lot of focus on weight loss, I was still able to take much away from each session. I love Laura's down to earth, hey I've been there style. I felt as if she was there to help, not lecture. Loved being part of the challenge, did end up losing a little weight, but gained in strength and endurance. Mostly gained was the momentum I needed to keep active and continue a healthy lifestyle.
