Entry & Eligibility
Your challenge begins the day of, or day after, your initial testing appointment.
Participants are free to follow the training and nutrition program of their choice during the course of this challenge. Recommended nutrition information, as well as sample workout programs are provided in both the participant log books, on Moodle, as well as in the seminars. Individual or small group Personal Training and Nutrition Consultations are available through the Be Fit For Life Centre at a reduced rate for Fit 'N Firm participants.
The challenge is open to all participants 18 years of age or older, with the exclusion of the organizers and their immediate family members.
There are four individual categories as well as the Friends & Family (Couples) Category and the Corporate Challenge Category:
- Male 18 years – 39 years
- Male 40+
- Female 18 years – 39 years
- Female 40+

Consent/Waiver
All pictures taken for the contest will become the property of the Fit ‘N Firm Challenge. Participants will be required to sign a consent and release form which states that the collection of personal information is done so under authority of section 32(c) of the freedom of information and protection of privacy act. This personal information will be used for the purposes of scoring for the Challenge. Personal information will not be used for media promotions without the written consent of the participant.
Each participant will be required to sign a consent/waiver form assuming all risks involved with competing in this challenge. All competitors expressly release the organizers and it’s affiliated companies from all risk, loss, injury, damage, or harm that may arise from participating in the Fit ‘N Firm Challenge.
Affidavit of Eligibility
Participants are excluded from using strength enhancing medications or banned substances and will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility.
Terms & Conditions
Odds of winning the Challenge depend on the number of completed entries and cannot be determined in advance. All federal, provincial, and local laws apply. All decisions of the judges are final. Prizes are nontransferable, and no cash equivalents or substitutes will be offered, except at the discretion of the organizers. No interest will be paid upon the prize dollars held in lieu of the winning competitor’ final test in January of the following year. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes.
*Participants will be issued a refund for medical reasons only, otherwise fees paid are not refundable.
